Belfast Eats is an independent food directory for the coffee shops, chippies, restaurants, bakeries and plant-based kitchens that make this city worth staying in for dinner.
We started Belfast Eats because the best places in this city were getting buried: under national chains, under paid placements, and under delivery apps taking a third of every order.
The fish supper that's been fried the same way since the seventies. The bakery on the Ormeau that sells out of wheaten before most people are awake. The vegan café that does a fry better than the greasy spoon next door. These are the places that make Belfast taste like Belfast, and they deserve to be found.
So we built a directory that works for them. Every independent food business in and around Belfast can claim a listing for free, and keep it for free. No trial period, no upsell to see your own reviews, no pay-to-rank.
For owners who want to take orders direct, we partner with Bizzy Apps Pro for branded web and mobile ordering apps at 5% per order and a £299 set-up fee, VAT included in both. That's how we keep the lights on without charging for listings.

Free to list
A complete listing costs nothing today and nothing next year. We will never put basic features behind a paywall.
No pay-to-rank
Nobody can buy their way up the directory or into our guides. Order is based on category, location and what you searched for.
Independents only
We list independent businesses and locally owned groups from Northern Ireland. National chains have plenty of places to advertise.
Real and verified
Every claimed listing is checked with the owner by phone or email before it goes live, so what you read is what you'll find.
